Level 1 Motorsports is a NASCAR Camping World Truck series team that is co-owned by Jim Blankenbaker and James Martin. Combined they represent over 40 years of experience in motorsports and both have been a mainstay in NASCAR racing for quite some time. They came together in early 2011 to create a team that is committed to bring back a common sense approach to professional racing.  During these tough economic times it has become apparent that the over the top free spending ways that have become the norm in professional racing is no longer going to be a successful way to operate a team. We believe that what ultimately matters is to produce a very competitive product for the race track and to give our marketing partners the absolute most value for their dollar.  We also believe in going back to a more grass roots effort with our driver development program. We are able to take local and regional racers and through our program bring them up to the NASCAR level on a budget that was never possible before.
